Convert GIF to PDF

Turn GIF files into PDF right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Good to know

  • Only the first frame of an animated GIF is converted.
  • PDF can't store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. You can choose another color in Options.
  • Each image becomes one page. Drag the rows to change the page order before you download.

About the formats

GIF is limited to 256 colors and is mostly used for short animations. Still images look better and weigh less in other formats.

PDF keeps pages looking the same on every device, which is why forms, portals and printers ask for it.

Questions

How do I convert GIF to PDF?

Drop your GIF files on the box above, or tap it to pick them. PDF is already selected, so conversion starts right away. Download each file, or grab them all as a ZIP.

Can I put several GIF files into one PDF?

Yes. Every image you add becomes a page in the same PDF, in the order shown. Page size, orientation and margins are in Options.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Decoding and encoding run in your browser with WebAssembly. Open your browser's network panel while converting and you will see no image data leave the page.

How many images can I convert at once?

Up to 500 files per batch, each up to 256 MB. Download them one by one, as a ZIP, or save them straight into a folder in Chrome and Edge.

Is camera data like GPS location kept?

No. Output files are written fresh from the pixels, so EXIF data such as GPS position, camera model and date is dropped. Photos are rotated upright first, so nothing ends up sideways.
