Turn HEIC files into SVG right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Good to know
The HEIC decoder loads the first time you add a file, so the first one takes a second longer.
The image is traced into vector shapes, not embedded. This works best on logos, icons and flat art. Photos turn into a posterized look. Pick the number of colors in Options.
About the formats
HEIC is what iPhones and iPads save photos as by default. It's compact, but Windows, Android apps and most websites still can't open it without help.
SVG describes shapes instead of pixels, so it stays sharp at any size. Many upload forms and apps only take raster images, though.
Questions
How do I convert HEIC to SVG?
Drop your HEIC files on the box above, or tap it to pick them. SVG is already selected, so conversion starts right away. Download each file, or grab them all as a ZIP.
Will HEIC to SVG give me a true vector?
It traces the shapes and colors in your HEIC into paths, so the result scales cleanly. Simple logos and icons trace well. Photos and gradients become flat color patches, so use fewer or more colors in Options until it looks right.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Decoding and encoding run in your browser with WebAssembly. Open your browser's network panel while converting and you will see no image data leave the page.
How many images can I convert at once?
Up to 500 files per batch, each up to 256 MB. Download them one by one, as a ZIP, or save them straight into a folder in Chrome and Edge.
Is camera data like GPS location kept?
No. Output files are written fresh from the pixels, so EXIF data such as GPS position, camera model and date is dropped. Photos are rotated upright first, so nothing ends up sideways.
